a little bit about me
During my time in Los Angeles, I became even more disappointed in the roles available to women in the film world. So, taking the advice of an acting coach, I started writing roles for myself. Little did I know that that small change in effort would completely reroute my acting and filmmaking career.

Thanks to that decision to be proactive and take control, I have become an actor/writer/director/producer. I have a few films under my belt all with female leads and all made with almost entirely female crews. In my lifetime, I want it to become the norm to have women outnumber men on set and to see more films depict women realistically and respectfully.

In May I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Studies in Cinema and Media Culture at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
Currently, I freelance in the video and photography industry in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. I am also a Student Advisor at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities for the non-profit Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs (HECUA) with my area of expertise in their Making Media, Making Change program (being an alum, myself!).
When I'm not on set, my hands are covered in chalk and I'm attempting to scale rocks (real and fake) with minimal falling.
