For many years I have assisted other creatives in getting through tough points in their careers.

Classmates in grad school in London would ask me, “Kara, how do you formulate an email to an acting agency? Heck, how do you find and decide which agencies to reach out to?!” Businesses have hired me as an events coordinator and social media manager. I have produced a podcast, countless films, and my own one-woman show. My photography skills have boosted sales for jewellers, fibre artists, museums, and more. Managers have sought my advice on how to improve their workplace and wellbeing of their employees.

I used to think my Jane-of-all-trades work history was a weakness. But I have grown to see it was all leading to this: being a creative career consultant and helping others see their dreams come to life.

Having had not much guidance myself when I was first pursuing a creative career, I hope I can give people the career advice I wish I had.
